GALA CELEBRATION EVENING

Sunday 29 April: with John Gorman and Open Mic night
Flash Fiction Competition winners announced

The festival will draw to a close with an explosive evening of music, drama and the nail-biting final of the Frodsham Flash Fiction Prize.

Taking centre stage will be local singers performing a tribute to Frodsham and John Gorman, comedian, singer and former Scaffold entertainer. He’s a veteran of children’s TV shows such as Tiswas, How Dare You, Razzmatazz and Terry Gilliam’s hit film The Jabberwocky – brilliant ‘jabber’ guaranteed!

Poets and Writers Open Mic Night!

After the interval, we open up the stage to you! Poets and writers are invited to come along and perform an original poem or flash fiction piece (max 5 minutes). To book your slot, please email festival manager Lynn Pegler in advance at pm@weaverwords.org.uk.
