Thursday 12 April: How to write the perfect crime novel

Award-winning crime author Martin Edwards will be giving clues on how to write the perfect crime novel at a special festival event, organised by Frodsham Library. He’s the author of The Golden Age of Murder, a ground-breaking study of detective fiction between the wars – shortlisted for the Edgar and Agatha awards. He’s also published eight novels featuring lawyer Harry Devlin and 18 crime novels.

The first book in the series, The Coffin Trail, was short-listed for the Theakston’s prize for best crime novel of 2006.
