Fresh from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe comes an entertaining, new play about Jungle Book author Rudyard Kipling. ‘If Only’ explores the writer’s extraordinary life and the devastating personal consequences of World War One.
Performed in costume, the show features many popular Kipling poems and stories.
‘The play is peppered with fragments of his writing and poems read complete, and it’s through this poetry the piece conceives a clever framing…’
‘Entertaining’, ‘powerful’ with a ‘warm and welcome charm.’
